TheFaceShop Aqua Tinted BB cream review

 Hey lovelies,
This is my review of the Aqua Tinted BB cream by TheFaceShop. Some back ground info: I have oily~ normal skin and currently my location is hot and humid, which could effect my product opinion, and I purchased the product with my own money.
Okay, so lets go.
I first saw this BB cream from BubzBeauty's fb page where her Chubbi chewed the packaging, and Bubz said she really love this product. So naturally I wanted to give it a try because I'm on a hunt for a good BB cream and since is Aqua I guess is suitable for my oily skin.
Well I received the product a few months back and I really want to give this product a chance on my good list, however its just "okay".
Like all BB creams a little goes a long way, and its best applied with your hands. Here is a pic of the BB cream just out of the tube. It looks very watery and liquid like, refreshing and cooling.

When first applied the product feels very light on the face and its very light coverage. I feel that its really hard to layer this product because is so watery and quick to try, the more layers you add the more cakey/powdery it will look.
It feels very nice and moisturizing and it doesn't irritate the skin.  However when I want to set the product with a fine powder (BareMinerials Minerial Veil), the problem starts. There is very fine striking and it looks very unnatural (looks like you have make up on) especially around the eye area where I applied eye-cream. And I know some may ask "try it without setting powder", well I have oily skin and after application of this BB cream along makes my complexion a bit over dewy. The product along is not oily, its just my skin.

After keeping the product on for a few hours, I felt the need to wash my face. Because I can feel a film like layer on my face and it really bothers me. I believe is my natural oily not reacting well with the BB cream so it feels like an additional layer. Image below is a pic of after the BB cream sets and drys, so its very light coverage and almost matte finish.
The staying power of this BB cream is not great too, its really easily rubs off with hand or tissue (even after setting) and when rubbed off you can def see light patches of you skin peeking through.

This BB cream contains mostly water, but form the oil test, you can see a little oil.

This image was taken after 6 hrs and the clear circle is mostly water, the outer darker rim is oil. So you can see how much mass it lost without water, so there is very little pigments used.

The final verdict: I wont purchased this product again and wouldn't really recommend it too because there are better BB creams out there that perform better and for about the same price. But I will try to finish it cause I dont want it going to waste, maybe I will use it when I need to run errands.
Here is a pic of me wearing this BB cream, I did conceal any needed areas and as you can see it dose look powdery and unnatural.
 Once again, thanks for reading!
