If corals are your thing and summer is just around the corner this lipstick will definitely tick your boxes. The shade is Peach Passion (#13) and is my very first YSL product. 

It gives a perfect pop of color without being too bold and loud. Its the perfect shade to throw on for a easy day time look.

Formula of these YSL Rouge Volupté are just wonderful, with a glossy finish and a hydrating formula these lipsticks can be worn all day comfortably. Reapplication is a must to keep the glossy finish going but I do find the colour will tint the lips a little.

Whenever you search for Nude Lipsticks this YSL shade always pops up along with Sential Silk (shade 02). Of cause for someone that likes the pinky undertones I opted for this one, Nude Beige.

This shade definitely gives you a MLBB look along with a touch of nuded out lips. Overall I love how this lipstick is able to smooth out the pigmentation of the lips and making them look soo natual.

For some odd reason the pictures are making the shade darker, the lipstick nudes out my pigmented lips and gives it a healthy pinky flush. When I don't know what lips to wear, this is always the one I gravitate towards.

The formula is extremely smooth and hydrating and it sits on the lips very comfortably, the best formulation in my books. You wont need a lip balm or addition prepping for the lips and the end result is always pretty.

For a moisturising formula like this, staying power is not one of its strong points. If you dont eat, its able to stay on the lips for a good 4 hours. But when you have a lipstick with glamorous packaging like this I would want to take it out and reapply when I can and paired with a Channel Mirror, BAM instant Old Hollywood Glam.

Since hearing about Bioderma I was always curious about Micellar Cleansing waters. I've seen reviews saying they can remove make up perfectly even down to nasty waterproof eye makeup. 

So when this little number by Garnier came to Australia, I was eager to try it out.

The Ganier Micellar water Water claims to Remove makeup, cleanse and sooth with out the need to rinse. Pretty neat huh. 

Like all normal people, I would use this on a cotton pad. The consistency of this is exactly like water and there is no fragrance. 

Its great at removing the face makeup like foundation, blush, bronzer and all. But when we go onto the eyes especially on the wp liner and mascara, it would not budge. 

Its very gentle on the eyes though, almost feels like eye drops with zero irritations. It leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh, and it removes all of the face make just like a oil based remover.

In short, this does a great job at removing face makeup but not for wp eye makeups, which I don't blame because the product it self does not claim to remove wp makeup. 

As a Micellar water, this is the first I've tried so I cant give a comparison. But this is great for days when I've just wearing some BB cream and blush.

Recently I've been getting into lipsticks. I'm not one that usually applly colour on my lips because they get dry and uncomfortable quite easily. Which is why a good lipstick to me is one that sits on my lips comfortably and very moisturising.

I saw a YouTuber using this and I'm always a sucker for pink shades. So i was curious to try it. 

Upon application it feels almost like a lip butter, its really buttery smooth to apply and it feels very moisturising on the lips. 

The wear time of this would be a good 4 hours without eating of cause. And through the wear time it keeps the lips hydrated without that oily feel. The feeling on the lips is very comparable to higher end lip shades ie YSL vouge volupe.

The pigmentation of this is good, its able to cover the original very pigmented color of my lips but still making it look natual. I feel this shade will look great on people with natually paler lips because the color is really beautiful.

I personally really enjoy this lipstick becuase it gives a very natual my lips but pinker look which is always sweet.

Jouer Blush in Rose

Blushes are probably my favourite makeup products ever. I feel you can never get enough shades of blushes and they are one of my essentials if I were to be stranded on a desert island. 

Today we're visiting the Jour blush in Rose. When I initially looked into the brand, there wasn't a lot of blogs or review for it. But I still wanted to try it because from the few people that have mentioned Jour, they seem to be a very positive feedback. 

I chose the blush in Rose because out of my whole blush collection I dont have a natural rose shade (we can ever get enough shades).

 The packaging is probably one of the best I've seen, it dose not beat around the bush with excess plastic or an unfriendly brush. Straight to the point with a crisp mirror and the product.







This brush may look a little dark in the Pan, but I gotta say its the perfect blush for fair girls. The pigmentation of this brush gives just the right amount for a subtle flush on the cheeks. And with no shimmer, its the perfect everyday blush for every occasion.

This blush is not crazy pigmented, so application is more carefree cause its hard to go overboard. 

And the end result is a very flattering wash of rosy red on the cheeks. Wearing this color makes me feel extra pretty, kinda like a princess. 

Staying power of this blush is similar to most powder products. So it really depend on your foundation base and skin type to determine the longevity  Topping your makeup with a finishing spray will help it last the whole day.

Meeting Michelle Phan in Sydney Myer

As many of you girlies know, Michelle Phan has headed down to Australia and last night Sydney. It was an incredible experience to meet Michelle in real life.

Here is the Vlog of the night, it was amazing. 

My experience with Michelle Phan was absolutely magical. The first thing she said to me was *I know you from somewhere*, I felt like I was floating on clouds. she is soo beautiful and genuine in real life, and did I mention I hugged her 3 time >.< sorry Michelle if you felt weird *I was too happy*
And a lot of people said she looked very skinny, but I think she looked really healthy. She was in heals and Viet girls are naturally petit in figure. - Nancy

We arrived at 5pm and we were rushed to line up for the photo booth with MP. Mon and Me had heaps of fun chatting away at this time.

For an opportunity to meet and photograph with Michelle, you have to buy a Lancôme set. We got the Michelle Phan set because its more meaningful and we thought she could sign it *sadly not*. But I'm really excited to try the products, they are my first Lancôme cosmetics.

Then we received a wrist band like this *super pretty* to show we have purchased a set and we are qualified for photos. The band is soo pretty that I didn’t want to take it off >.<

 

Just before Michelle arrived we saw the host getting miced up. She was wearing a very glittery dress.

 

When Michelle came we didn’t see much of her cause we were stuck behind a huge pillar, but we didn’t wait long till the photo session. Also during out wait, we were interviewed by a Lancôme camera person and we might be in one of the Lancôme videos *sooo excited*. We were really hyper and excited in the video, I guess our craziness was perfect for the video ^^

Weekend Wind down

One of the most exciting things I received this week was my Stila Kitten Eyeshadow (I've waited 2 weeks for postage *rage*), but all was worth the wait. 

I really love this Champagin eyeshadow with a subtle hint of peach because it looks really gergous on the eyes. However saying that I have a few that has a similar finish to this, ie my Loreal Infailliable shadow in Hourglass Beige. So I wouldn't run out to get this if you have a decent Champaign collection already. 

Staying power of this shadow is also pretty good, (8hrs +) and over a good primer this baby will not crease or smear. 

The pigmentation is beautiful and I can understand why swatching this is soo addictive (its soo pretty to look at, Okay the picture is not doing it justice).

This second item definitely is worth a mention, I receive a YSL lip Stain from a SHOP giveaway!!!! I won this, from a GIVEAWAY. Okay I'm making a big deal because I dont normally win anything and my luck is normally down the drain when it comes to giveaways.

I revieved the shade 12 and the colour payoff is phanomenal (see pic below). Application on the lips is very smooth and it dont leave the lips drying. Like all lip products, is best to apply on smooth exfoilated lips.
The staying power is also great, given you dont wipe it off (due to the glossy nature). 
And the Stain can be easily removed with a WP  remover.

 After a few hours of application my lips did get a little dry, so I would recommend application over a lip conditioner.
Overall, I'm very impressed with product and its definitely a luxury/splurge item.
Given the chance of trying out this product, I might be interested in trying more shades like corals (I'm SOO into Coral right now).

Finally, here are some products I picked up during the weekend to try out. 

I know its abit exessive to get nearly the entire range of Vitemine E range from The Body Shop, but I was thinking maybe me eekky oily T-zone was be due to lack of moisture. So I will keep you posted on what I think. 

And trying out a hair oil has been on my list for a while, so I grabbed this one from Priceline which was on sale.
